Strategic Planning
Process
Zadie & Co. designed a high-touch, collaborative planning process to foster team and board alignment about the organization’s future. The 8-week sprint-style planning process involved targeted sessions with executive leaders and facilitated weekly project team meetings. This structured, fast-paced approach ensured that all stakeholders contributed to shaping the organization’s direction while maintaining momentum.
Challenge
In 2019, A+ Education Partnership transitioned its leadership while navigating the disruptive effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. Approaching its 30th anniversary, the organization sought a streamlined, actionable strategic plan to clarify its mission, vision, and values and position itself for impactful work over the next three years and next three decades across the state of Alabama. The challenge was to build a plan that balanced specificity and flexibility, enabling A+ to drive its vision forward while adapting quickly to shifts in education policy and funding landscapes.
